U podnožju Stare Planine, u centru sela Crni Vrh, nalazi se domaćinstvo Dragana Božinovića. Daleko od gradske gužve i urbanog načina života našli smo mesto kojem smo se posvetili i skromnim ulaganjima u material, svojim rukama smo svaki deo imovine činili jos lepsim. Gosti našeg domaćinstva su dolazili iz svih krajeva naše zemlje ali I iz inostranstva, dosta ih je bilo iz susedne Bugarske, a bilo ih je I iz Poljske, Svajčarske, Švedske, Francuske… Domaćinstvu smo dali ime “Golema Reka” , po rečici koja izvire ispod Midžora.

Golema reka has its good and bad sides. Overall I felt pleasent with really wonderful hosts! They are a family, with... positive attitude and they laugh a lot. Very kind, willing to help and easygoing. Good side also include dinner, which was in the price. Great food, very tasty and prepared with love. Location is also good, but have in mind that there is no mobile network. Bad sides include very small rooms with too many beds in them. Bathroom also had a hot/cold water issue and it was almost impossible to set the right temperature for shower. Breakfast was also not so good as dinner, without any interesting local specialities. Lobby was authentic and interesting, but hygiene could be better. Something which also can be improved is to have the possibility to sit outside and enjoy the nature. Where to begin? Stara Planina is beautiful and amazing place, but if you are a family with children do not stay in... this place. The hosts are not really hospitable. I experienced them as very much interested in themselves. The man (host) was ok, I would say rather neutral. Beside coming in late after 23 to our apartment because there was small leaking in the apartment below can not add much. That even I can understand in a wat since I was awake. Still children were asleep. We let him in to see but there was nothing to see. He did that 2-3 nights in a row. Bur the lady (hostes) was remarkable specimen. First she was giving me instructions how I should shower properly so there is no leakage in apartment. below. Then she did that again the day after. Second, she was not pleasant to my wife when we said they should wait for one more day to do any repairs in the bathroom because we were leaving the other day. She said it must be done it is urgent. Our son was feeling a bit sick and it was raining cats and dogs outside so we planned to stay in. The weather got better so we told them we will go out and they can try to repair the bathroom. When we got back, there was still tools in the bathroom and awful smell of silicone sealant. When I made a remark to lady that it is not ok that family with 2 kids need to smell awful toxic smell of silicone sealant, she tried persuading me that it was not silicone based. And after we found silicone sealant cartridge in our bathroom she just said that it is not a big deal. Not to mention when my wife went to borrow the hairdrier, the lady again shared “valuable advice” how come we don’t have it in our apartment. Luckily beside clever comment she did borrow us a hairdrier. On top of that for breakfast we got a piece of bread with nice green mold on it. When I informed the lady hostes she did not even apologize. The appartment it self is a fraud, but this is another story not related to the owners of Golema Reka. The apartment is let via Booking and promoted for 4, although it has 1 room of up to 8sqm alltogether with kitchen, kitchen table, Tiny TV, huge heavy ledder that is blocking the entrance to bathroom with taste of sewer smell. Ledders take you to gallery with a mattres, where there is no room to stand. Maybe fir for students, adventurists who stay out most of the day and come in just to sleep. Terrible experience. Absolutey not worth the money. I envy people who had good experience in this lodg. I just wanted a pleasant vacation.read more
